“In our multicentre, retrospective cohort study, concomitant HCV and MDR/RR-TB treatment was effective and well-tolerated. DAA treatment led to achieve undetectable HCV-RNA and sustained virological response for all patients with available data. Similarly, treatment success was achieved for 91% of patients who completed MDR/RR-TB treatment”

TBnet centers in different countries host Ukrainian colleagues + other Ukraine-related news
As a response to war in Ukraine, several institutions/labs involved in TBnet opened their doors to Ukrainian colleagues. One of the leading host organizations in this matter is Serveis Clinics, Barcelona. They used INNOVA4TB funding to host five colleagues from Ukraine. http://serveisclinics.com/en/
Ukrainian colleagues also came to the universities and hospitals in Sweden, Germany and other countries.
Additionally: thanks for supporting the ptbnet fundraising for Ukrainian paediatric TB patients and colleagues. Over 13 000 pounds collected! https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/ptbnet-ukraine-appeal
Additionally: Jess Potter together with Tom Wingfield have written about their concerns relating to multi-drug resistant TB and the impact of war. Very useful reading! https://theconversation.com/russias-invasion-of-ukraine-poses-a-threat-to-the-control-of-drug-resistant-tb-in-europe-and-the-world-179126
