TBnet Annual Meeting 2025 – Programme online and registration open

Registration for the TBnet Dinner following the TBnet Annual Meeting is open until 3 November. Registration for online participation remains open.


This will be a half-day meeting held at the Statens Serum Institut (Artillerivej 5, 2300 Copenhagen S, Denmark). You can look forward to exciting TBnet project updates and announcements, a keynote lecture by Tony Hu, and a practical workshop.

Call to Members: TBnet Steering Committee Elections 2025


We are pleased to announce that the online voting for the open positions on the TBnet Steering Committee is now open from October 20 to November 06, 2025.


In accordance with the recent constitutional change, this General Assembly vote will be conducted as binding online voting. All TBnet members are eligible to vote and have received an individual voting link via email.


By following the link, you will find detailed information about the candidates and their motivation statements. You may cast one vote per position, or choose to abstain.


The three open positions are:

·       TBnet Database Representative

·       TBnet Steering Committee Candidate for TB

·       TBnet Steering Committee Candidate for NTM

The election results will be announced at the TBnet Annual Meeting in Copenhagen on November 18, as well as on the TBnet homepage.


Kharkiv Grand Rounds: Clinical Case Presentations on Tuberculosis and Non-Tuberculous Mycobacteria Pulmonary Diseases

 

We invite you to join the KHARKIV GRAND ROUNDS. The next meeting will take place on November 28, 2025 at 13:00 WE(S)T, 14:00 CE(S)T and 15:00 EE(S)T.


Dr. Olha Konstantynovska and Dr. Tetiana Synenko will be presenting clinical cases for discussion towards an international panel of physicians with experience in the management of difficult-to-treat patients with tuberculosis and non tuberculous pulmonary diseases. Please find the flyer here.

UCL Centre for Global Tuberculosis Research


The UCL Centre for Global Tuberculosis Research has officially commenced activity and TBnet extends its congratulations to Prof Lele Rangaka, Prof Hanif Esmail, and Dr Frank Kloprogge on their leadership! The Centre aims to undertake high-impact, multidisciplinary research in TB by strengthening links with the WHO, curating data management with open access, partnerships and allying with the Global South, and education and training opportunities.


This is an exciting development and the Centre will be a welcome addition to the tuberculosis research community. We look forward to any future collaborations and wish the team the very best as the Centre develops over the coming years.
