Paulina Siniatkina’s “Hospitality” at Bradwolff Projects
Tuberculosis (TB) is a curable disease, yet it remains the deadliest infectious disease in the world. Every day, around four thousand people die from TB. Despite international commitments to eradicate the disease by 2030, scientific progress is slow, and funding remains insufficient. On top of this, stigma forces millions of people to hide their diagnosis.
In “Hospitality”, artist Paulina Siniatkina, who narrowly survived TB herself, explores this often invisible social dimension of the disease. The exhibition is a personal, immersive investigation of what it means to live – and survive – in hospital isolation. Siniatkina spent seven months on a TB ward, observing how patients navigate not only the medical, but also the emotional and social challenges of their situation.
The exhibition is on view at Bradwolff Projects in Amsterdam-Oost from 22FEB2026 – 24MAR2026 and we would encourage our members to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity, and please share within your networks.
