Daniela Maria Cirillo is a board-certified clinical microbiologist, Head of the Emerging Bacterial Pathogen Research unit at San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan and Director of the WHO Collaborating Center in TB laboratory strengthening and of the ESCMID Collaborating Centre at Ospedale San Raffaele. Her research focuses on mechanisms of detection of drug resistance in MDROs of nosocomial origin and mycobacteria and application of NGS based technology in clinical microbiology. She and her collaborators provide technical support to more than 12 Countries in Africa, Asia and Europe. She is Science Officer of the ESGMYC, Co-Chair of the New Diagnostic Working Group of the StopTB partnership, core group member of European Laboratory Initiative and ERI, PI of the European laboratory network (ERLN-TBnet), Elected member of the Disease Network Coordination Committee (DNCC) for Tuberculosis at ECDC and President of the European Society of Mycobacteriology since 2016.

Ilaria Motta - MSF UK. She is an infectious diseases physician with experience in managing HIV and TB infections in resource limited settings with MSF in 2014 (Central Africa Republic) and other Italian NGO in 2011 (Burundi). In 2018, she obtained her PhD in pharmacokinetics of TB drugs and in 2023 she obtained MSc in Public Health at LSHTM. Since 2017 she has been in the role of medical monitor for TB-PRACTECAL, MSF-UK. Ilaria also collaborates as a clinical adviser to the EndTB clinical trial with MSF-France.

Lorenzo Guglielmetti is an infectious diseases physician and epidemiologist with a strong focus on clinical research to improve the treatment of drug-resistant TB. He is a clinician and researcher at the National Reference Center for Mycobacteria (Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, Paris, France) and director of the endTB project for Médecins Sans Frontières. He is Chair of the ESCMID Study Group on Mycobacterial Infections (ESGMYC) and part of the Steering Committee of the TBnet.

Liga Kuksa is a pulmonologist and the chair of TBnet. She is the Head of the Multidrug-Resistant TB Department, TB and Lung Disease Center, Riga East University Hospital and also the head of the Latvian WHO Collaborating Center for Research and Training in Management of Multidrug-Resistant Tuberculosis. Her work is focused on MDR-TB management, as well as research and training in the field of TB at the national and international level.
