A successful meeting on clinical tuberculosis took place in Yerevan, Armenia, 28-30 June 2019
The title: Overcoming practical challenges in day-to-day clinical tuberculosis care
The meeting was a part of a series of travelling conferences within KIGG-TB. TBnet is cooperating in with this project. KIGG-TB is funded by the German ministry of Education and Research Clinical, diagnostic and programmatic challenges in the implementation of new diagnostic methods for tuberculosis in regions of Southern Caucasus and Central Asia.

Implementation of new diagnostic methods, differential diagnostic of TB from other diseases and research on implementation were discussed. Networking was partially building on previous cooperation of TBnet with Armenian TB service. At the same time, the new project was bringing in completely new dimensions of TB studies and involved colleagues from Kyrgyzstan. Next meeting of this series is planned in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
