this year's TBnet Academy took place from 12.05. to 15.05. in Bucharest. Beside presentations of the participants there was a visit of the hospital wards and the laboratories. Furthermore the point "Action against TB" was on the program. This year, football was played with TB patients; before that, the participants and lecturers went through the city with inscribed T-shirts and posters to point out the stigmatisation of TB patients.
Besides others, this was made possible by local groups - e.g. Asoc. Pentru Sprijinirea Pacienţilor cu Tuberculoză Multi - Drog Rezistentă. With the TBnet Academy (and the help of Traian Panciu) we also made it into Romania's local press.
