TBnet was a co-organizer of the meeting together with TB Center Arctic, Umeå University Hospital, Molecular Infection Medicine Sweden (MIMS), Umeå University, and INNOVA4TB, research project. The meeting gathered over 100 participants among them about 15 TBnet members. During the Arctic meeting the World TB Day was celebrated by demonstrating WHO TB banners “It’s Time”, the gallery of TBnet Photo Contest pictures and announcing the winners of the contest.
Speakers and participants were from Sweden, Norway, Germany, Ukraine, Moldova, Spain, Poland and USA. After-meeting activity included indoor climbing, building a snowman from snow, ice skating and ice-fishing.
