Tim Walker is an infectious diseases physician, clinical microbiologist, and a Wellcome funded clinical researcher with an interest in TB epidemiology, genomics, drug resistance, and clinical trials. He is based at Oxford University Clinical Research Unit, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Andrea Cabibbe, San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milan, Italy; GLI core group member
Andrea Cabibbe is research associate at the TB Supranational Reference Laboratory in San Raffaele Hospital (Milan, Italy), with more than 10 years of experience in TB-related translational research, drug resistant surveillance and diagnosis, and technical assistance to national TB programmes and laboratories. He is member of the Global Laboratory Initiative core group of the Stop TB Partnership and Associate Editor for The International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease.
Christoph Lange, Research Center Borstel, Borstel, Germany; TBnet
Prof. Christoph Lange is a pulmonologist and infectious diseases specialist. He is the Medical Director of the Research Center Borstel, Leibniz Lung Center, and Professor of Respiratory Medicine & International Health at the University of Lübeck. He is the Head of the Clinical TB Unit in the German Center of Infection Research and a Guest Professor at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX (USA). Prof. Lange is the Secretary General of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease. He was the Founding Chairman of TBnet where he is still engaged for Education.
